When you add up the costs and hassle of moving home it makes good ecomonic sense to stay where you are and improve your current home. No need to change kids schools, no worrys about what your new neighbours will be like and no stamp duty and fees! En suites are great for for adding that extra wow factor and value to your home, but only if done well. A small cramped en suite with no headroom that eats up too much of the main bedroom will probably remove value rather than add it!
