But this kind of thing happens from decade to decade, its a buyers market, then a sellers market. Right now it is a buyers market and if you need a quality house, you'll pay a good price for it. Later on you'll be thankful to purchase the house at a low price and be able to sell it (if you choose to) for a better profit when it becomes a sellers market. Unfortunatly with the economy, it is hard to even buy these cheaper houses:-/ I agree that the housing markets are not the best.
